Our opinion

Atomic Wallet Logo
Atomic Wallet
We consider Atomic Wallet to be a clearly designed, user-friendly wallet for cryptocurrencies. Overall, it compares well with the Exodus Wallet but falls noticeably short in a direct comparison. Atomic Wallet has significantly fewer features than comparable wallets and lags behind the competition in user experience. The website’s presentation, especially the section under “Trusted Reviews,” strikes us as somewhat unprofessional and leaves a questionable impression. Some users also complain about apparently insufficient customer support. Generally, reviews on popular platforms and app stores are very positive. However, personally, we would lean towards other software wallets or a secure hardware wallet like Ledger, Trezor, or BitBox.

Trezor Model One
The Trezor Model One offers a simple and secure entry point into self-custody of cryptocurrencies. While it has fewer features and lacks a color display compared to the premium “Model T,” it provides excellent value for beginners and budget-conscious users. A notable positive aspect is the manufacturer’s open-source philosophy, which is not always common in the wallet space and contributes significantly to the overall security of the wallet and its software. Overall, we can definitely recommend the Model One but would personally lean towards a comparable “Ledger Nano S” or a “Bitbox.” However, for those who want to stick with Trezor and are looking for an affordable, secure hardware wallet, the Model One is an excellent choice.
