Our opinion

Bitstamp Logo
Bitstamp
Bitstamp is a veteran in the crypto scene, earning our trust mainly due to its long-standing presence. The provider also holds a payment institution license in the EU country Luxembourg. We consider Bitstamp a solid choice, though there are certainly more modern exchanges in the market offering a wider range of features, simpler usability, and sometimes lower fees. Nevertheless, Bitstamp’s long history makes it a reliable and secure trading platform in our view.
Bitstamp review
Bitget Logo
Bitget
Bitget is a top choice for professional crypto traders, thanks to its modern user interface, sophisticated and versatile trading tools, and notably low trading fees. However, we would not recommend Bitget for beginners, as there are more user-friendly platforms better suited for those just starting out. In terms of security and trust, Bitget reinforces its reliability with a transparent “Proof of Reserves” process designed to verify the existence of user funds. Nevertheless, caution is advised due to regulatory uncertainties. This risk can be minimized by regularly transferring your cryptocurrencies to a personal wallet rather than leaving them stored on the platform long-term.

Criticism focuses on the high fees for small trading volumes and mixed experiences with customer support. Some users also wish for a wider selection of altcoins and enhanced customizable features on the platform. Despite these critiques, Bitstamp is generally regarded as a reliable and user-friendly platform for cryptocurrency trading.
Bitget Logo
Bitget
Bitget offers a rich array of features for the seasoned trader, but the platform also shows weaknesses, especially regarding beginner-friendliness and transparency. The low fees and diverse trading options are undoubtedly strong points. However, potential users should be aware that experiences with Bitget can vary greatly depending on individual needs and crypto trading experience. Thorough personal research and caution are recommended, particularly in light of reported security and trust issues.
