About Philipp Duringer

Philipp Duringer is the founder of Coinbird and has been actively involved in Bitcoin, crypto assets and digital financial markets since 2017. With Coinbird, he is building an independent platform that makes crypto exchanges, wallets, digital assets and key market indicators easier to understand, more transparent and easier to compare.

The idea behind Coinbird grew out of Philipp’s own experience entering the crypto market. Many explanations around cryptocurrencies were highly technical, difficult to understand or buried in long whitepapers. At the same time, exchanges, wallets and crypto providers were often hard to compare transparently and heavily shaped by marketing claims. This led to the goal of making crypto topics easier to access and giving users a clearer, more reliable basis for their own decisions.

Philipp’s work sits at the intersection of crypto, digital products and data-driven analysis. He focuses on how crypto assets can be evaluated, how exchanges and wallets can be compared, and how metrics such as fees, spreads, security, regulation, usability and market indicators can be presented in a clear and understandable way.

Together with the team, Philipp has tested and analyzed more than 40 crypto exchanges and wallets. The focus is not only on provider claims or published fee tables, but on realistic user perspectives, transparent criteria and a clearer assessment of costs, security, regulation and usability.

Philipp brings more than 15 years of experience in IT and digital product design, including his work leading UI development for one of Germany’s largest real estate platforms. This background also shapes his work at Coinbird: structuring complex, data-heavy topics and presenting them visually in a way that helps users better understand and compare metrics, market indicators and crypto products.

Coinbird’s editorial approach is based on balanced, transparent analysis. Crypto is neither presented as a guaranteed opportunity nor dismissed by default. Instead, Coinbird explains the opportunities, risks, costs and technical foundations behind crypto products so users can make better-informed decisions.
