Our opinion

Zengo Logo
Zengo
Zengo takes a novel and exciting approach with its “Keyless Wallet.” The wallet focuses entirely on beginner-friendliness and usability. Common pain points like recovery phrases (seed phrases), backups, and verification processes are avoided through a hybrid solution: instead of a private key, two so-called “secret shares” are created. One remains on Zengo’s servers, and the other is stored on the user’s mobile device. Zengo cannot access these stored values but can still restore a backup if lost. Verification is done via biometric facial recognition. This solution represents a major leap forward in usability, making Zengo especially recommended for beginners. However, crypto purists who want full control over their private keys should opt for a different wallet. Otherwise, we recommend Zengo and align with the positive user reviews.

Infinity Wallet
We find that Infinity Wallet offers one of the most attractive and user-friendly interfaces on the market. Its range of features and seamless integration with Web3 applications and decentralized finance are also strong positives. However, compared to other providers, the wallet is still relatively unknown, and the company (team) behind it appears quite anonymous. We’re not entirely comfortable with this and therefore cannot give an unconditional recommendation. Ultimately, software wallets carry significantly higher risks than hardware wallets due to their direct connection to internet-enabled devices, which can be potential targets for hackers. If you do choose a software wallet, we recommend opting for ones that have proven themselves in the market over several years.

Overall, the Infinity Wallet appears to be well received by users, especially for its user-friendliness and support for a wide range of cryptocurrencies. However, opinions on customer support are mixed, and there are some concerns about security and company transparency. Nevertheless, experiences seem fairly positive, suggesting that the Infinity Wallet could be a good choice for many crypto users.
