Uniswap
 (UNI)

Uniswap is a decentralized exchange (DEX) built on the Ethereum blockchain. Using smart contracts and an automated market-making system instead of a traditional order book, the Uniswap protocol enables trading of digital assets without intermediaries. Applications, wallets, and other exchanges can openly integrate with the protocol and tap into its liquidity.

Kaspa
 (KAS)

Kaspa is a cryptocurrency that uses the GhostDAG protocol instead of a traditional linear blockchain. Unlike classic blockchains, Kaspa does not discard concurrently mined blocks but processes them simultaneously in a BlockDAG network. This enables extremely fast transactions with minimal confirmation times, without compromising security or decentralization.

Our opinion

Uniswap Logo
Uniswap
 (UNI)
Uniswap is a prime example of a successful Ethereum application and thus a strong use case for blockchains and smart contracts. The sector of decentralized finance (DeFi) has been growing steadily, and the Uniswap protocol plays a leading role in this space. For some time now, it has recorded the highest trading volume of all decentralized exchanges, at times even surpassing the volume of traditional trading platforms. Many well-known applications in the crypto world also rely on the liquidity pools provided by Uniswap and its users. In the long term, it’s conceivable that other financial service providers or banks might also tap into Uniswap’s liquidity—although that’s likely still a long way off. The protocol is currently the clear market leader in this segment, which is why we remain optimistic about the future of the UNI token.
Uniswap overview
Kaspa Logo
Kaspa
 (KAS)
Kaspa addresses one of the biggest challenges of traditional blockchains: scalability without compromising security or decentralization. Using the GhostDAG/PHANTOM protocol, all generated blocks are integrated—a key advantage over classic blockchains like Bitcoin and Ethereum, which discard many blocks. Extremely short block times and fast confirmations make Kaspa one of the most performant Proof-of-Work cryptocurrencies. Another benefit is the kHeavyHash algorithm, which makes mining more efficient and resource-friendly compared to classic PoW algorithms like SHA-256. However, PoW remains energy-intensive, potentially leading to regulatory challenges in the long term. Kaspa also faces challenges: it must compete with established networks like Bitcoin and Ethereum, which have strong network effects and developer communities. Additionally, Kaspa is still in an early ecosystem development stage—especially regarding smart contracts, DeFi, and real-world applications crucial for long-term adoption.
