Our opinion

Cardano Logo
Cardano
 (ADA)
Cardano has solid technical foundations and an intriguing scientific approach. The problem: development is often too slow for the fast-moving crypto space, and this shows in its lack of real adoption. While competitors like Solana or Avalanche rapidly ship features and attract developers, Cardano has relatively little Total Value Locked (TVL) and few active projects despite having smart contracts since 2021. The DeFi ecosystem exists on paper, but most developers are still building elsewhere. The scientific approach may be theoretically superior — but without genuine adoption, it remains an academic exercise.
Cardano overview
Axie Infinity Logo
Axie Infinity
 (AXS)
Axie Infinity is considered one of the first crypto games to achieve broad popularity and widespread play. Inspired by Pokémon and Tamagotchi, the game uses blockchain mechanics such as NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens) and classic tokens (AXS – Axie Infinity Shards) to enable true ownership and tradability of in-game assets. Similar to Pokémon, the game appeals to our collecting instinct and additionally allows players to earn the in-game cryptocurrency or tokens through battles and other activities. This innovative concept is known as “Play to Earn,” meaning players can earn money while playing. We see Axie Infinity as a milestone in this segment and believe it has helped popularize this new gaming category. However, whether the player base can be maintained long-term remains uncertain, which will likely impact the price development of the in-game tokens as well.
